Susana Martinez Files Official Declaration Of Candidacy With Secretary Of State
Las Cruces – Susana Martinez, Republican gubernatorial candidate today issued the following statement concerning the filing of her official declaration of candidacy with the New Mexico Secretary of State:
“It is abundantly clear that New Mexicans long for real reform and accountability in the Roundhouse, and today, I am moving one step closer to delivering that change. As I have traveled the state gathering the necessary petition signatures and listening to the concerns of voters, one theme has resonated: the Richardson/Denish Administration has failed and thrown aside our values and principles. In the coming months, I look forward to continuing my dialogue with the electorate about the real, substantive changes I would make as governor to restore fiscal sanity in Santa Fe, reduce taxes on hardworking families and businesses, root out the waste, fraud and abuse that is running rampant in state government, and work to ensure our children are receiving the quality education they deserve.”
